Wen dish with hibiscus-shaped rim in celadon glaze, Yuan dynasty, 14th century
- Image Number: K1B017452N000000000PAB
- Dynasty: Yuan dynasty
- Category: Ceramics
- Function: Container
- Description:
The shape of the porcelain plate is similar to the objects unearthed from the tomb of Wang Xingzu of the Ming Dynasty (1371) in Nanjing, which can indirectly trace back to the possible date of production. For Wenqing in the 17th century, this kind of work is just the official Ge kiln with the Song Dynasty image in their eyes. The character “Wen” engraved on the bottom of the plate is probably a collection mark, but I don’t know whether it has anything to do with the writers.
