- Description:
It is carved from blue and white jade. It is moist and has ochre brown spots. The whole piece is about rectangular, with the middle section slightly thick and raised. The surface is carved with the title of “Autumn Mountain”. It can be seen that two deer are located at the two ends of the jade ornaments. One stands and the other lies. The two deer are separated by trees. The ochre brown part of the jade is skillfully transformed into tree branches and leaves. The “Autumn Mountain” jade ornaments show the scenes of Qidan, Nvzhen and other ethnic minorities in northern China in autumn service, and their decorative patterns are mainly mountains and forests with deer. The motif is opposite to the “spring water” jade decoration.
