- Description:
It has a long mouth, a short neck, a round belly, a short circle of feet, and a fish shaped ear on both sides of the neck. It is installed and fired by using the combination of support and cushion. The inside and outside are covered with blue glaze, which is moonlight white and grayish. Gray edges appear along the thin glaze at the mouth, and brown patterns are opened on the surface. There are five studs on the inner and outer soles respectively, and several shrunk glaze marks with different lengths can also be seen on the inner soles. The glaze applied to the ring foot is uneven, and the dark gray carcass is exposed at the landing place. The porcelain glaze, foot ring and bottom features of this work are similar to another celadon fish ear stove (hence porcelain 17710) in the courtyard. Similar shapes can also be seen in Longquan Kiln, which can be regarded as one of the popular utensils from the Southern Song Dynasty to the Yuan Dynasty.
