Description:
Fragmentary wall-painting showing a standing Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara before a mandorla. His upper body is bare except for a stole and the jewellery he wears, which includes a necklace, armlets and bracelets. On his head, which is surrounded by a halo, he wears a tiara with a large jewel in the centre. Inside the jewel a Dhyani-Buddha is depicted. The right hand of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara is held before his breast and holds a long-necked vase. His left hand is held in front of his thighs as if gathering his robe. The green, red, white, pink and bacl pigments used to colour this wall-painting are much faded but still visible.
