Description:
Fragment of wall-painting. Shown here is the right forearm and hand as well as part of the torso of a Bodhisattva. The right hand is shown palm facing outward with thumb and index finger forming a circle while all other fingers are extended. This is the gesture of discussion (vitarka mudra). Between thumb and index finger there is a webbing which is one of the 32 signs of a great man. The figure wears a necklace and has a lot of decorations on the skin, such as a ring surrounded by small dots in the palm and a vajra on the forearm. The green and pink robe seems to have had a embroidered border with a floral motif in green and blue. The pigments are faded but still clearly visible.
