Description:
Wall sherd of a clay vessel. The sherd of the wheel-thrown vessel was decorated with an appliqué clay plaque in the shape of a human figure of which only head and upper body remain. The smiling human face is shown with a broad nose, rounded ears adorned with earrings and large round eyes. The hair is short, the forehead marked by a central dot. The person is holds both hands in front of the chest. Details such as the pattern of the clothing, hair etc. were emphasised using incised lines.
