Description:
Wall sherd of a clay vessel. The sherd of the wheel-thrown vessel was decorated with an appliqué clay plaque in the shape of a lion’s face. The animal is shown in full frontal view, the head surrounded by the mane. The plaque was set between a decoration consisting of incised lines.
