Description:
Fragmentary clay vessel with appliqué decoration. This is part of the neck and body of a wheel-thrown ceramic vessel. The outside was decorated with incised lines and stamped concentric circles. Three figures of dancers, arms held above the heads with palms together, have been applied to the neck of the vessel. The body was decorated with appliqué plaques in the shape of lion’s faces. Remains of four (?) handles can still be seen.
