- Description:
This small axis is painted with mountains and streams, and houses are built on the left side. There is no author’s money on the painting, but from the pen and ink and the observation of the motif, it is very similar to the long scroll of Chuan Jiang Shen’s “Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains”. Some scholars speculate that this small scroll may be the lost passage of the long scroll. In terms of size, the height of the small axis is indeed the same as that of the long roll, both of which are 46.3 cm; Judging from the texture, the silk texture of the two is quite similar. In addition, there are similar techniques in the description of buildings, trestles and other structures in the painting. This small axis and the long scroll handed down as Jiang Shen should have been a continuous work. From the current situation, there may be a longer paragraph before the picture scroll, but it has been lost.
