Plate, decorated with the coat of arms of O’Brien, “Gules three lions passant gardant in pale per pale or and argent”; crest, “An arm embowed brandishing a sword argent pommel and hilt or”. These are now the arms of O’Brien of Ballynalacken Castle in Co. Clare, Ireland, a branch of the great house of O’Brien of Thormond. Made of enamelled porcelain.
