- Description:
A big bowl with a wide mouth, a deep wall, a sharp bottom, and a short circle of feet. The body is light and thin, and the outer wall is decorated with patterns of upward lotus petals. The lotus petals are thin and long, and the middle edges of each valve are high; It can be inferred from the fact that the outer wall text still exists that an external mold may be used to assist in forming during fabrication. The outsole is flat, the foot wall is thin, the foot tip is unglazed, the color is grayish yellow, and the foot edge still has sand stains. The whole body color is pink and blue glaze, which is moist, and the glaze along the mouth and the middle edge of the lotus petal is mostly eroded due to use. This kind of lotus petal bowl is one of the most common shapes of Longquan Kiln, which is widely seen at home and abroad. As can be seen from the Tombs of Shi Shengzu (1274) and Pan’s (1275) of the Southern Song Dynasty, the latter is the same size as this piece. There are many bowls of this kind in our hospital.
