Comments:Rawson 1995:Small hare-shaped pendants are one of the principal types of Shang and Western Zhou jade animal figures. Examples appear at Anyang in Fu Hao’s tomb and at Dasikongcun. Western Zhou examples occur at Shaanxi Baoji Rujiazhuang. See also BM 1935.0115.20 and BM 1937.0416.53. The jade shows a well-developed ability to depict creatures.
