Painting of Thousand-armed, thousand-eyed Avalokiteśvara, shown standing. Simplified version of this complex subject: the Bodhisattva has only ten arms, in four of which are the sun, moon, skull-headed mace and trident. Other arms in various mudras (gestures). Eyes in palms painted around aureole. Ink and colour on paper.
