Description:
Thang Kha. Dākinī (Skt., डाकिनी; Tibetan, mKha’ ‘Gro Ma). A red Dākinī striding on two prostrate figures surrounded by a flaming red halo. Below two dancing cittipatis flanked by forms of Mahākāla; above them a flaming sword and a book. In the sky above a Mahāsiddha, a form of Tārā and the teacher Tsong Kha Pa (1357-1419). Pained in ink and water colour on cloth; with silk brocade borders; mounted on card.
