  • Description:
After the middle of the Northern Song Dynasty, the scholars who paid attention to the art of tea drinking loved to use black tea bowls to set off the white tea soup. At that time, the production of black tea bowls expanded from Fujian Jianyao to major kilns in the north and south, with their own characteristics. The wall of the bowl is open at an angle and presents a bamboo hat style. After being glazed, the foot shape is carved with a knife. The foot is small, the bottom is shallow and concave, and the bottom center is convex. The tire color is off white. Obvious wheel marks can be seen under the black glaze on the outer wall. The black glaze inside the vessel is decorated with a wooden leaf pattern with yellow and slightly blue turbidity, and the leaf margin is slightly rolled up. The craftsman first applied light yellow glaze on the utensil, then pasted the treated wood leaves, and then applied layers of black glaze rich in iron, which was fired in the kiln; There is another interesting poetic flavor in the realism. This is the unique style of Jiangxi Jizhou Kiln; This kiln was built in the Five Dynasties to the Yuan Dynasty. Besides various colored glazes and paintings, it is especially good at making use of the different iron content in glazes to show the color contrast between patterns
