Lantern slide (black and white); Itinerant performers at Chiblung near Sakya – Mrs Hopkinson states that they were Ache Lhamo performers [see Notes]. A child in the centre wears a mask and a man on the right has a large drum. Mrs Hopkinson commented that the child in the centre fell asleep during the performanceSuch troupes would tour the country for impromptu performances.
