Comments:Registration slip: ‘Presented by Dr. W.G.K. Barnes, R.N. 3rd March 1896. China. Short jacket of dark blue cotton cloth. Characters cut out of red flannel are sewn on the back and down the front. The jacket is lined with a cotton of paler blue. Soldiers’ jacket from the outposts of the Eastern Forts at Wei-hai-wei. Feb. 6th 1895.’
