Eight petal rhombus shaped mirror with hemispherical button. The pattern on the back of the mirror is a double circle inscription. The inscription on the inner circle is “Fu Shou Jia An”, with a longevity character between each character. The inscription on the outer circle has eight characters: “Qing Su’s successor will always use the treasure.” The same mirror was unearthed in a tomb of the late Northern Song Dynasty in Suiping County, Henan Province. In Yuan people’s “Plum Blossom Lady” collected in the courtyard (legend), the beauty hand-held mirror is very similar to this mirror.
