Description:
A beggar’s hat; tall crown with rounded top and wide brim. Made from cream wool felted cloth; somewhat dirty and with many small holes (evidence of former insect damage). Vertical bands of horizontal embroidery, worked in blue woollen yarn, at base of crown. Brim piped with pink tabby cotton cloth.
