The “Statue of Emperor Gaozong of the Song Dynasty” is included in the 11th Portrait of Emperor of the Song Dynasty, with inscriptions in regular script on the opposite, indicating the name of the person in the painting and the year of his reign. In the portrait, Zhao Gou (1107-1187), Emperor Gaozong, wears black gauze to stretch his feet, and a scarlet robe. The men and eyebrows are all white, the face is clear, and the eyes are bright, showing a gentle and elegant appearance. There is no signature on each painting of the whole volume, and it is not sure who the author is, but the faces of the emperors are different, highlighting their personal characteristics, and the painting methods are different from each other. The original manuscript should be written by the imperial painters at that time.
