- Description:
Wu Shuo (after? – 1169), a native of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, was named Fu Peng and Liantang. His father, Wu Shili, likes to collect poems and calligraphy. Wu Shuo was able to pass on Xu’s family learning, and both regular script and cursive script were considerable, which could get the charm of Jin people. This letter was written in Shaoxing, when the Song Dynasty went south, and the pictures, books and paintings of the imperial palace were lost. In order to revitalize culture and education, Emperor Gaozong followed the actions of Emperor Taizong of the Northern Song Dynasty and issued an imperial edict to visit the world’s posthumous books. Wu said that the result of his ordered visit was only one piece of Linglan Pavilion in the Tang Dynasty. In order to achieve our mission, we sent letters to friends and asked for help.
