Comments:Zwalf 1985The Bodhisattva sits with his hands in ‘dharmacakra mudrā’; two large disc-shaped earrings touch his shoulders, and there is more jewellery at his wrists and on the crown. The original colours are much degraded, both on the gessoed area (face and chest) and on the lacquered robe, but there remain traces of red, blue, green and gilt pigments.
