Clay figurine of a monkey playing a string-instrument. The figure is fragmentary and the right arm is missing. The seated monkey wears a ruffle around his neck and is shown playing a lute-like instrument with four strings. Interestingly, he is strumming with his left hand, meaning that he would have held a chord with his right. Details such as the strings of the instrument or the fur and the eyes of the monkey were emphasised with incised lines.
