Description:
Fragmentary clay figure in the shape of a standing elephant. The animal originally carried a rider and raised its trunk, but both parts of the figure have now broken off. The body of the elephant is decorated with incised spirals and dots, harness and saddle were also rendered using incised lines. The object was burnished before being fired and has a very smooth and shiny surface. The fact that it is hollow suggests that it was used as a vessel.
