Description:
Fragment of a stucco figure representing the Buddha. The upper half of the figure remains, with the head and the shoulders clearly visible. The head with elongated earlobes and a topknot is surrounded by a nimbus. The right hand is raised in front of the shoulder, palm facing outwards with the fingers extended. This is the mudra of no-fear (abhaya mudra). Traces of gilding can still be seen.
