Description:
Fragment of a figure made of red clay. This is the head of a Buddha or Bodhisattva which was mould-made using red clay before being covered with a white slip. The object is fragmentary but the curly hair is clearly visible. Traces of the black and red paint used to emphasise the eyes are still visible.
