Description:
Fragmentary stucco plaque showing the Buddha standing on a lotus throne. The head of the figure is missing. The Buddha is dressed in a red robe. The right hand is raised to the shoulder, palm facing outward, in the so called abhaya mudra (the gesture of no-fear). The left hand holds the robe. Traces of red, pink and white pigments can still be seen but are much faded.
