Description:
Clay figurine of a monkey playing a string-instrument. The figure is fragmentary and only the upper part remains. The monkey is shown playing a lute-like instrument with three strings. Despite of the very small size of the object, the composition is very detailled. Details such as the strings of the instrument or the fur and the eyes of the monkey were emphasised with incised lines.
