Clay figure depicting the face and hair of a woman. Her hair is brushed upwards from the forehead and seems to be fixed with a comb decorated with a large jewel in the centre. Side-curls can be seen on her cheeks and her hair is parted into two sections. One part forms a short tail which passes over a cushion on the front of the head, the other part forms a long ponytail which is looped up to the top of the head and held by a bow. Some of the details, such as the eyes and strands of hair were rendered using incised lines, other details, such as the comb and the side-curls were applied using small rolls of clay. The figure was covered with a light grey slip before being fired.
