Description:
Clay figure of a kneeling woman holding a child in her arms. She wears a jacket with wide sleeves and a pleated skirt. Part of her hair is in a topknot held by a bead circlet, the other part is in a ponytail which is looped up to the top of the head and held by two bows. Her eyes are very prominent and the pupils as well as the nostrils and the corners of the mouth are marked by small holes. Other details such as the trimming of the jacket are emphasised by using incised lines. The swaddled infant wears a cap. Traces of red paint are still visible.
