Description:
Stucco relief showing a Buddha.He is standing upright, the right hand raised to the shoulder, the left hand pointing towards the ground with outstretched fingers. This is the Abhaya mudrā, the “mudrā of no-fear”). The head of the Buddha is surrounded by a halo, the elongated earlobes and the protuberance on top of the head are clearly visible. The figure was mould-made and then applied to the background.
