Description:
Fragmentary round clay figure depicting a lion’s face. The animal is shown in full frontal view with its head surrounded by the mane. Eyes, cheeks and forehead are bulging, giving the animal an evil expression. The plaque was most likely applied to another object, probably a vessel.
