Description:
Fragmentary figure of a Gandharva holding a garland. Gandharvas are male nature spirits said to have superb musical skills. The hair of the gandharva is in a bun, its upper body is bare and he wears two bracelets around his wrists. The figure was probably made using a mould and applied to a vessel. It is unfired and thus very friable and worn.
