Description:
Stucco plaque showing the Buddha standing on a lotus throne. His right hand is raised to the shoulder, palm facing outward, in the abhaya mudra (the gesture of no-fear), the left hand holds the robe. The head with the elongated earlobes, the black hair and the protuberance is sourrounded by a halo. The pigments which were used to decorate the figurehave mostly flaked off, only some white pgments can still be seen.
