Description:
A monk / lama dancer’s dress; large, triangular-shaped sleeves. Made from dark blue brocaded silk cloth patterned with dragons, clouds and seascape; orange silk brocaded cloth at sleeve ends [11.5 cms wide]; includes gold metal-wrapped cloth and gold metal strip. The mid-blue damask bodice is covered in floral patterns and Buddhist symbols. Pleated at hip. Lined with coarse red tabby cotton cloth; sleeve edges lined with blue tabby cotton cloth.
