In the painting, a cow is injured, and two tigers fight each other for food. Bian Zhuang, a doctor of the State of Lu in the Spring and Autumn Period (770-221 B.C.), was famous for his bravery. He stabbed the tiger with his sword. He turned around and listened to the advice of others: “If two tigers fight, one will die and the other will be injured. At this time, he stabbed the tiger and got two tigers.”. Bian Zhuang followed the advice and got two tigers.
