In this painting, under the giant rock and green pine, a child rides a sheep, holding a plum branch with a slanted birdcage, followed by two sheep. “Sheep” is homophonic to “Yang”. “Three Yang” is the divinatory symbol of heaven and earth crossing in the Book of Changes, which shows that everything in the world has business and is a symbol of good luck.
