The end stone and the inkstone are in the rectangular hand copying style. The height of the two sides is about 4.3 cm. There is no block at the lower end. The stone is blue and purple, and the ink pool is slightly concave. The ink pool is in a straight line. The seal script: “Song Yan” is engraved on the side of the head wall of the inkstone, and the official script: “Shuo Yu” is engraved on the right side. The left side is engraved with the inscription of Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty. The regular script: “The body is rigid and soft, and the use of combined movement and stillness. Every day, tens of thousands of years of imperial court, and many provinces have blessed the world, and will last forever.”, The title of the inscription is “Qianlong has already been recognized by the emperor”. The first seal is “Qianlong” and “Longlong” seal characters with round and square beads. This inkstone inscription is also recorded in the First Collection of Emperor Gaozong’s Imperial Poems and Prose of the Qing Dynasty. The First Collection of Imperial Prose, Volume 27, Pages 6-7. According to this inkstone, in the winter of the 14th year of Qianlong’s reign, Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty selected an ancient inkstone from the Inner House and made it into the ancient ten inkstones. This inkstone is the fifth of them, and it is marked with “E” characters in the inkstone box to wipe the calligraphy to distinguish it from other inkstones.
