There is no famous money of the author, painting the scene of deer playing and resting in the maple forest in autumn. The painting method is very strange, which is different from the general traditional method. It seems to be influenced by external factors and has a strong decorative interest. Deer painting is all done with light ink. When painting leaves, first use a fine pen to hook the outline and vein, then use juice green to stain them, or use powder to fill them, and then cover them with light color. The color does not cover the ink, so they have their own glory and flourish. The full width gives a delicate and soft feeling. This picture may be related to the painting of a thousand horned deer presented in Liao Dynasty when Emperor Renzong of Song Dynasty was recorded in the Painting Records.
