Comments:Corrigan notes that the Geija people are considered by the Han people to be Miao, but they consider themselves to be a separate minority group called Geija. They live in an area west of Kaili to Chongan town and along the Conganjiang river.Text from Corrigan 2001: 70: kaili city area, qiandongnan prefecture. Female Apron (Gejia Group). Squarish apron with hand-woven ties. Two smaller wax-resist aprons are usually worn over the top. The base material is blue cotton, indigo dyed. It is embroidered in cross and associated stitches.
