Comments:The spiral design motif on this apron was made using the ‘reverse applique’ technique. The design was cut out of the white upper layer of fabric to reveal the black below. The ties have been decorated with sections of brightly coloured, factory made, floral fabric popular with many of the diverse peoples who live in this part of Southwestern China.
