Dong Yuan (10th century AD), with the word Shuda, was born in Zhongling, Jiangnan. The Southern Tang Dynasty was the deputy envoy of Beiyuan. Be good at painting mountains and waters, and write more about the real mountains in the south of the Yangtze River. This painting was identified as Dong Yuan by Wang Duo. Its scenery is deep and serene, and its winding streams are winding. It really feels that the mountains and rivers are deep and cold. Mi Xiangyang referred to Dong’s paintings as those with peaks and mountains, clouds and fogs that are obscure, and they are innocent without pretending to be clever. The haze is dark, the branches are strong, and there is business. It seems that you can see it in this picture.
