Gold Plated Dragon Button “Treasure of the Imperial Concubine of Xun”
“Treasure of the Imperial Concubine of Xun”, Xuantong of the Qing Dynasty, made of gold plated material, with Dragon Button square seal and Manchu Chinese seal script. The surface is 13cm square, the overall height is 12.8cm, and the button height is 4.1cm
The seal is printed in Manchu and Chinese with the six characters “Treasure of the Xun Emperor’s Imperial Concubine”, which is sealed for the late Qing Dynasty. Imperial Consort Xun, Imperial Concubine Tongzhi, and the daughter of a senior scholar, Sai Shanga, were initially granted the title of Xun Bin and Imperial Concubine of the Later Jin Dynasty. In the 21st year of Guangxu’s reign (1895), Jin was granted the title of Consort Xun. After Xuantong’s accession to the throne, he was honored as Imperial Concubine Kaoxun. In 1913, he was granted the title of Emperor Kao Zhuang and the Imperial Concubine. He died in 1921. This seal was made in the early years of Xuantong when he was honored as the Imperial Concubine of Xun
