This tight-fitting material (also known as the waistband material) is embroidered with a 4-width, 77cm wide, and 89.7cm long snow green satin. The pattern is designed in a tight-fitting style, with each two patterns symmetrical and embroidered with a pattern of birds facing the phoenix. In the picture, the phoenix stands on the rock with its head held high, sheltering under the tall wutong tree, surrounded by 108 birds such as peacocks, mandarin ducks, cranes, ribbons, egrets, magpies, golden pheasants, swallows and orioles. Hundreds of birds have different poses and are lifelike. Several clusters of chrysanthemums and okra on the edge of the stone are colorful, competing for beauty. The colorful and beautiful composition of flowers and birds expresses a cheerful and auspicious atmosphere, fully reflecting the artistic characteristics of Guangxiu, which are passionate, lively, and full of life atmosphere
The decorative patterns of tight-fitting materials are embroidered with colored wool, and the colors are rich and exquisite. There are 32 colors for phoenix alone, including golden yellow, goose yellow, apricot yellow, white, red, peach red, brown, dark green, aqua green, turquoise blue, dark blue, agaric, fragrant, brown, lotus root, shrimp green, and bronze, while there are 15 colors for peacock. Needling methods are widely used, including more than 10 types of needle methods, such as inserting needles, laying needles, nailing needles, tearing needles, loosening needles, pulling needles, twisting needles, straight needles, and round needles. This material is an outstanding work of Guangxiu embroidery in the Guangxu era of the Qing Dynasty.
