Zhou Leyuan’s Inner Painting of Landscape Figures Snuff Bottle has a height of 6.2 centimeters and a belly width of 3.7 centimeters
Smokepot flat bottle type. On both sides of the abdomen, a landscape portrait is painted, with the inscription “In the early autumn of Renchen (the 18th year of Guangxu, 1892), Zhou Leyuan painted it.”
This smoking pot was created by Zhou Leyuan, a master of interior painting in the late Qing Dynasty. Zhou is good at landscape painting, and his most representative work is modeled after the work of the Qing Dynasty painter Xin Luoshan. The interior painting of this smoking pot is one of them.
