Imitation Jun Kiln Varying Glaze Pomegranate Zun

[Imitation Jun Kiln Varying Glaze Garnet Zun]

Imitation Jun Kiln Varying Glaze Garnet Zun, Qing Daoguang, height 19 cm, caliber 10.5 cm, foot diameter 9 cm
The statue is shaped like a pomegranate, so it is named the pomegranate statue. The flower mouth, folded edge, straight neck, round belly, and circular feet are slightly outward curled, and the body is evenly distributed with six concave lines. The outsole is engraved with six characters and three lines in seal script “made in the light year system of the Qing Dynasty.”. The interior of the vessel is painted with moon white glaze, and the exterior is painted with red kiln changed glaze. The glaze at the six concave lines is sky blue, while the interior of the ring foot is painted with light moon white glaze, with uneven glaze color
In general, the kiln red glazed porcelain in the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty is not as rich in glaze color changes as in the Yongzheng and Qianlong periods, and the firing technology is on the decline
