Cotton ink, 16 spindles, a complete set of collection ink. The ink is rectangular in shape and dark and fresh in color. It reproduces the entire process of sowing, picking and selling cotton, weaving, scouring and dyeing, and cotton cultivation during the Qingming Festival on top of the ink products, namely, 16 farming landscapes of cotton, including cloth seed, irrigation, furrowing, picking, picking cotton, picking and drying, picking and selling, rolling, texturing, binding, spinning, warping, cloth pulp, weaving, and scouring and dyeing. The ink product is engraved with labor scenes and poetry, which fully represents the entire process of farming and weaving crops and cotton
This set of ink was made by the Emperor in the thirtieth year of Qianlong’s reign (1765). It was packaged in a black lacquer box with a gold double dragon and pearl pattern. It was divided into upper and lower boxes, making it extremely exquisite.
