[Enamel Color Double Ring Bottle]
Enamel Color Double Ring Bottle, Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, with a height of 14.1 cm, a caliber of 5.5 cm, and a foot diameter of 6.4 cm
The bottle imitates the style of a copper pot from the Han Dynasty, with an open mouth, short neck, rolling shoulders, drum belly, and rounded feet. The shoulder is decorated with a gold colored elephant head, a ring, and a shop head. The inner wall of the bottle and the inside of the ring foot are coated with turquoise green glaze. The outer wall is entirely covered with gold colored brocade patterns, and is painted with various colors of deformed precious flowers. From the mouth edge to the ring, five gold colored string patterns are separated, showing more wealth and splendor. The outsole is decorated with black enamel color seal script “Made in Qianlong” in four characters and double lines
In the late Qianlong period, most of the enamel colors were based on a pattern of flowers, and various patterns were decorated on the color ground using a rolling process. Subsequently, the decorative technique of imitating the effect of gilding was used, with a complex and magnificent style and exquisite appearance. Its pattern decoration has changed the elegant style expressed by the enamel color of the Yongzheng period, and is basically similar to the decorative art of pastel porcelain of the same period.
