Colorful Mandarin Duck Crouching Lotus Bowl, Qing Qianlong, height 6.3 cm, caliber 18.3 cm, foot diameter 10.5 cm
Open bowl, deep belly, straight wall, slightly introverted under the belly, and lying feet. The inner mouth is written in blue and white Sanskrit for one week, and the outer mouth is painted in blue and white to catch the pearl dragon for one week. The blue and white double circles on the inside and outside of the bowl are painted with a pattern of mandarin ducks in the lotus pond: the ripples in the pond are slightly suffused, the lotus flowers are in full bloom, and the water plants are luxuriant. Mandarin ducks either swim between them, or soar in the low sky, echoing each other, creating a vibrant landscape. The foot is painted with white glaze and inscribed with a blue and white seal script “made in the Qianlong year of the Qing Dynasty” in six characters and three lines
