This picture is one of a series of works on hunting tours painted by court painters under the command of Emperor Qianlong. The picture is drawn in a paddock with picturesque mountains and clear waters, and the layers of forest are stained with dye. Emperor Qianlong alone clapped his horse and galloped quickly. As indicated by the arrow, a fleeing wolf could be seen. The whole picture is extremely dynamic and full of vitality
In the picture, the Emperor Qianlong and the white horse under his crotch should be painted by the Western painter Giuseppe Castiglione in the palace.
